RICH JANNUZZI

Rich Jannuzzi has lived in Bound Brook for most of his life.  He was born in Bound Brook hospital in 1952 and has been an active contributor to our community ever since.

He attended Bound Brook schools and graduated from Bound Brook High School class of 1970.   After graduation, he attended The College of NJ where he received a bachelor’s degree in Business.  Subsequently, Rich achieved a position at Revlon where he worked as Director of Purchasing for over 20 years.

Rich married a BB alumna, Marguerite Barboni, and they had 4 children.  They loved Bound Brook in those days and raised their kids in the small, quiet town and early evening softball games.  Rich was always active in Bound Brook.  From being President of Friends of the Library to coaching Rec Softball to volunteering with the Boy Scouts, people knew if you needed an honest, reliable, intelligent person to help, you could call Rich!

Today, Rich (“Mr. J” as his students refer to him) works as an Instructional Aid in the Bound Brook school system where he seems to have come full circle-- once again helping kids and serving Bound Brook at a time when his type of leadership is much needed.  Rich was raised in a town that, at one time, valued integrity, honesty, affordability, quality of life and a high standard of living.  Rich hopes to bring these values BACK to the Bound Brook council.

Rich Jannuzzi wants to fight for a Better Bound Brook by once again revisiting the standards which Bound Brook once proudly boasted. Rich prioritizes law enforcement, code enforcement, maintenance of our town, smarter redevelopment that benefits all-- and above all—LOWERING TAXES and the extremely high cost of living here in BB.   He understands what it means to live on a fixed income, to want to raise your children in a clean, safe town, and to have leaders who care deeply about the people they serve.

That is the kind of LEADERSHIP Rich Jannuzzi hopes to bring back to Bound Brook.
